There is so much hype around the LG GD900 Crystal that I can hardly wait to see it. It was displayed at an international exhibition in Barcelona, at the Mobile World Congress. It has been said that it became a wild hit with the crowds and that they were awed by the build and design of the GD900 Crystal. I have heard that LG will release its specifications sometime soon and the phone itself will be released in the second quarter of 2009, most probably in April. Like I said earlier, I can hardly wait to put my hands on a LG GD900 Crystal.

Here’s everything that I have heard about it, that has made be so excited about it. The see the official press release has not one, but two touch screen pads. While the first is the regular touch screen display that has become very popular these days, the other is the keypad! Can you believe it? This is the first phone to use a touch screen as a keypad. Given how much people complain about hurting fingers especially when one has to type out long text messages and emails, it is surprising how no other mobile phone company thought of this idea before!

The other fantastic feature of the keypad of the LG mobile phones is that it is completely transparent! And not just that, it also glows and shimmers when the keypad is slid out. No doubt this phone is going to be all a rage in fashionable circle. Who can resist a phone that doubles as an attractive accessory? And, it has a matching Bluetooth headset to add to its appeal. A transparent, glowing touch screen slide out keypad- what more can I ask for?
