Coming as the 4th handset in its Black Label Chocolate series, the LG BL40 Chocolate updates the features of its previous touchscreen winners with flagship-grade specifications that will further cement LG’s hold on the mobile markets as a force to reckon with. Apart from its stunning looks that easily make an upscale fashion phone beside, here are some features revealed by the photos themselves and by LG.
- Its high definition 4 inch LCD screen in 21:9 aspect ratio has 800 x 345 pixel resolution that is not only a pleasure to look at, but a gorgeous performer that makes watching movies a cinematic experience on the road.
- There’s a dual screen capability to show different content types courtesy of its proprietary S-Class User Interface that really takes advantage of the BL40’s expansive homescreen.
- The virtual keypad on a widescreen is the easiest to use in any smartphone in this class.
- There’s the usual nod to a camera onboard with its highly capable 5-megapixel snapper. Additional information remains to be seen.
- There’s support for Bluetooth 2.0, GPP, WiFi and all the features we’ve come to take for granted in a flagship smartphone that’s a capable imaging and multimedia phone as well.
Pricey but Tasty
The LG BL40 Chocolate is certainly going to be a pricy handset from LG once it becomes available in the market during the last quarter of the year. Is it worth the price? The pictures alone seem to indicate it will be.
